More Than Gold Every four years the world stops. For two weeks in the summer, we are mainly the world we want to be. While our borders differ and our allegiance is territorial, we are in awe as we watch the world's best athletes amaze us with their performances. More than Goldis Morgan Kirkwood's chance to shine. Not the favorite to win the gold in women’s gymnastics, she has another mission -- find and rescue an American political prisoner being held in Korea.

The nineteen year old, former homeless child lost everything when her social worker-adopted mother died. The team was all she had. When tapped by the CIA for this dangerous mission, she agrees. Twelve years later, as another Olympics looms, her life is in again danger and the CIA agent assigned to protect her is the man who endangered her heart during her Olympic days and again today.

Jack Temple was undercover as Morgan’s protector when she both rescued the prisoner and performed spectacularly to win gold medals in each of her gymnastic events. Discovering she is again in danger, he volunteers to help her. She isn’t welcoming of his attention and he can’t seem to keep his mind off her. Yet both will learn a secret that can change the course of their lives and test whether their love will survive.

Gymnastics is one of my favorite events. In honor of the world coming together, I am giving away an autographed copy of More than Gold (print), a T-shirt saying I am a Beautiful Creature, and several sports related items to use or relax with.

There are more giveaways to come. So celebrate with More than Gold and continue the celebration with Barbara Phinney on August 9th hosting football, Cheryl Malandrinos will be offering up some hockey fun August 10th and Shari Brady will be serving up volleyball August 11th for our grand finale.

And take a look at Dianne Venetta whose Whisper Privileges deals with Olympic swimming.
